Shatterglass Studios is an award winning new media development and film and video production company dedicated to producing high-quality, high-impact media that resonates with the modern and multi-sensory appetite of today’s culture.
Based in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, Shatterglass Studios is a creative agency of passionate filmmakers who pride themselves on understanding the intricacies of influential and meaningful new media, video production and film. With a subtle balance of design, composition and emotion, we create television commercials, corporate branding videos, industrial videos, promotional videos and films. In 2012 they were recognized by the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce as the Small Business of the Year. In 2013, we were awarded a regional Emmy for their documentary about the 2012 Roger Ebert Film Festival by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Throughout all of it, we try to keep one concept at the forefront: Emotional impact through storytelling. No matter what it is we are producing for you, the key to effectiveness always comes through the desire to evoke emotion, and the best way to do that, as we have seen through countless centuries of intellectual evolution, is telling a story. Our ability to develop your brand or your message through effective storytelling is where we truly take pride in our creativity.
We really feel that Shatterglass is a different kind of media company. Our focus on storytelling comes from our principal experience as narrative filmmakers. Our desire to bridge the gap between the emotional experience of a movie and the informational experience of a promotional product has driven us to join the new modern culture of “personal” commercial production. But more than that, the technology we use, like the RED Scarlet-X Digital Cinema cameras, allows us to develop the kind of film and video that emanates the highest quality and effectiveness in your brand or message. Shatterglass Studios will allow you to develop the true potential of your message. There’s technical wizardry, blood, sweat and tears going on behind the scenes, but hopefully all you’ll see is something inspiring and beautiful.
